Over the past couple years I’ve been learning about internet marketing and searching for ways to generate leads…ways to build a list…ways to introduce my company and natural health products online.  I’ve done alot of searching and tons of learning with alot of trial and error.

I found several very good information sources..some free and others very low cost.

I was introduced to a system that is showing me great potential and I feel very confident that it will be very beneficial to my primary company as well as an online business in general.

Blogging is still the safest way to generate leads, sales and sign ups.  I just have to share something with you real quick today that I have recently discovered that is completely changing how I’m marketing…And I think it’s very important that I inform YOU about this, because it directly affects YOUR marketing as well!

As you know, over the past 3 years I have been learning all I can about marketing online.  If you are like me, you have probably been learning and implementing some of the so-called “free” internet marketing methods like article marketing, video marketing, social web 2.0 networking, HubPages, Squidoo, and so forth.

But, do you know what I just found out?!

That even though you CAN get some results using these type of methods; the hard pill to swallow – is that ultimately, you DON’T have control over how long they are out there and how many prospects they actually reach!

In other words:

You somewhat “get what you pay for” using these free marketing methods because you do not own them; and when you don’t own or pay for something – you truly have less control over what happens to your content.

And that’s NEVER a good thing!

Here recently, many of these sites have been changing their terms of service (TOS) so they have the right to disable, cancel, revoke, and delete any and all of your content on a whim if they decide they don’t want certain phrases or keywords like “home business, mlm, make money, network marketing”, etc. on their site anymore!

This has already happened to people in my niche market, and I refuse to let someone
else have control of MY marketing…

And I highly suggest you don’t either.

Happy New Year everyone ! 

 While everyone is setting their new goals for 2010 to be more prosperous & successful in their business I would like to remind everyone and to ask you to set one more goal….to become a better person.  I know you already are a good person but sometimes we just need reminders occassionally to realize it is not just about the money and success.  The most important thing we need to do every day is to be good to ourselves, enjoy life and be good to others.

Here is a small portion of a newsletter I receive that is always full of wonderful inspirational & informative info.

You’ve already set some significant goals for 2010. (You have, haven’t you?) And today, I’m going to ask you to set one more: to become a better person.

You are going to do that by making a commitment to…

• pay less attention to yourself and more attention to other people

• focus on opportunities, not problems

• listen first, talk later

• criticize only when your criticism is helpful

• never speak badly about anyone

• never complain about anything

• perform an act of kindness every day

The Right Mindset Makes It Easy To Make Blogs Work For Your Business

Blogging is taking off like a wildfire. People are blogging about just about anything you can think of.                            From the daily routine of their cat, to technology reviews, to politics.

Until the blogosphere sorts itself out and matures a bit more, it may be difficult to
tell exactly how this new frontier of instant publishing can help you and your
business grow. But don’t worry – you’ll start getting a flood of new ideas in
the coming months.

For now, the most important thing you can do is develop the right mindset about
business blogging. What you think about something, and how you strategically apply it in your                            Business very often has more to do with success……. than the technology, tool, or resource itself.

Blogging is just a tool.  But it’s a tool that can and should become a major support arm of your business.                                      

Why?…….Because it exponentially multiplies the world’s oldest, most favored, and trusted form of information sharing — word of mouth.

Just ask yourself, whom do you trust the most to give you advice, recommendations, and information about opportunities, purchases, or choices?  Someone you know and trust, right?  Someone who you feel is just like you.

That type of trust comes from personal communication, social interaction, and the joining together of like-minded individuals.  Blogging simply magnifies and expands that sense of community and more personalized communication, and then expands the reach across the entire world!

Link trust; with respect, positioning, and word-of-mouth and you have the makings of a powerful marketing arm that can initiate an ever-growing stream of highly targeted prospects.

Remember, it’s the relationships that matter most. Keep your eye on that fact, and you’ll always have the right mindset for business blogging that’s a benefit for you and your readers.
