Natural Healing vs Chemical Drugs / Toxins

I have always enjoyed being outdoors, being barefoot and enjoy the beauty of nature. Imagine my thrill when we were able to move on to a small farm in the 70’s. My kids were able to run and play in a safe environment, we were surrounded by green grass & trees….I bred and raised German Shepherds and life was good.
Once the kids were all in school I went to school to become a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist. I wanted in the health field…it just seemed the thing to do at that time since I loved helping others. I graduated, found a job in a doctors office and once again was absolutely thrilled. I loved my job.
Then I started to really take notice to all these really sick people….many who did not take care of themselves properly and many who would come into the office with minor complaints…leave with a prescription for a chemical drug…only to return within days or weeks with more health complaints and to be given different or more prescriptions to counteract the side effects they were having from the first initial prescriptions. I remember thinking how there had to be a better way…had to be alternatives and then I was drawn into natural healing and alternatives. I already had an interest in natural healing but this really started to put things into perspective.
Now I’m not saying that doctors are bad. The vast majority are only trained in chemical drugs and treatments. I’ve had doctors tell me that. They do have a place in the world or they wouldn’t be here. So for those of us who realize the power of nature it is up to us to do our own research into natural alternatives and try them before filling up our bodies with all these man made chemical toxins.
We are surrounded by so many toxins these days….. just breathing … synthetic materials we bring into our homes…walking through a parking lot breathing in car fumes…lotions and products we put on our body and the food we eat that is filled with preservatives. It’s never ending now and very hard to get away from.
We can’t all live in a cabin in the mountains, grow our own organic food and breathe in unpolluted air. What we can do is try the best we can to stick to a healthy, natural diet, supplement with proper natural nutrients and herbs, daily exercise and get our proper rest.
Think of a good recipe. If you leave out one or two ingredients then it just won’t turn out right or taste good.
Healthy Diet + Exercise + Rest/Sleep + Natural Supplements = Good Health !
